What are the requirements to avail a Privilage Card? »
Qualifications:

- must be resident of Marikina City
- must be the declared owner of residential real property in the city
- must be non-delinquent in the payment of residential real property

Requirements: (New Applicant) 

- Properly filled-up Application Form 
- Photocopy of Official Receipt of latest payment of Real Property Tax 
- Photocopy of latest Tax Declaration 
- Any valid Identification Card (ID) and/or proof of billing
- In case of spouses, bring photocopy of Marriage Contract

Requirements: (For Renewal) 

- Old Privilege Card 
- Photocopy of Official Receipt of payment of Real Property Tax
- Properly filled-up Application Form (duplicate) 

Notes:

- The person whose name appears on Tax Declaration should be the
  one availing the Privilege Card. 
- Submit all documents to the Privilege Card Office located at the ground 
  floor of the City Hall Building or call 646.0373 for inquiries.

How to apply/renew/retire for Business Permits?                                

Requirements for NEW Businesses:

  1. Application Form (New)
  2. Barangay Clearance
  3. Engineering Inspection Certificate
  4. Health Inspection Certificate
  5. Fire inspection Certificate
  6. Waste Management Seminar Certificate
  7. Occupational Permit
  8. Photos of establishment (showing signboard & sidewalk)
  9. DTI / SEC Registration
  10. Community Tax Certificate
  11. Others

Procedure:

  1. Applications must be received and approved by the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO)
  2. Attach all required supporting documents then submit the same to BPLO
  3. DTS reference slip will be given to the applicant
  4. The business establishment will be inspected
  5. When everything is in order, assessment will be prepared and to be paid to the Treasury Office teller immediately.
  6. The business permit/license and business plates will be delivered to the place of business
  7. The business permit/license and business plate must be displayed in an “easy to see” place of the establishment
  8. The business permit/license is to be renewed on or before the 20th of January every year.

Requirements for RENEWAL of Businesses:

  1. Application Form (Renew)
  2. Barangay Clearance
  3. SSS Clearance
  4. Engineering Inspection Certificate
  5. Health Inspection Certificate
  6. Fire inspection Certificate
  7. Waste Management Seminar Certificate
  8. Occupational Permit – as needed for workers
  9. Community Tax Certificate
  10. Previous years Business Permit and Official Receipt representing payment of the same
  11. Others

Procedure:

  1. Fill up the Business Permit application form
  2. After filing and upon receipt of ACKNOWLEGDEMENT RECEIPT AND ADVICE (ARA), applicant can leave.
  3. ORDER OF PAYMENT (TAX BILL) will be released three (3) days after filing.
  4. Present TAX BILL to windows 7, 8, & 9 (Treasurer’s Office) for payment.  Penalties will be imposed 7 working days after the January 20, deadline.
  5. After payment, proceed to windows 47 & 48 for your Business Plate Sticker.
  6. Allow three (3) days processing and approval period.

Please make sure all the requirements are completed.
Retirement of Business
BPLO must receive the Application for Retirement within twenty (20) days after operation of business has stopped/ ceased.
Reqirements:

  1. Retirement Form
  2. Latest Business Permit
  3. Official Receipt representing payments
  4. Community Tax Certificate
  5. Financial Statement/Sworn Statement of the current year
  6. Business Plates
  7. Others

Procedure:

  1. Submit the required documents to BPLO
  2. Applicant will be given an acknowledgement receipt (ARA)
  3. BPLO will inspect the business
  4. Assessment will be done for any unpaid obligation
  5. Pay at the Treasury Office teller for any delinquency
  6. Retirement will be approved

  1. Get your Laters Cedula & Photocopy of Barangay Clearance
  2. Go to Police Headquarters located at the Ground Floor of Justice    
    Building (in front of   Marikina City Hall)
  3. Fill out form
  4. Go to Window 1 for finger printing
  5. Submit required documents at Window 2
  6. Proceed to picture taking
How do I get Marriage License?»

Steps:

  1. Personal appearance of applying parties; 
  2. Both applicants must be of legal age 18 yrs old and above
  3. Either one of the applicant must be a resident of Marikina City 
    If applicant is 18-24 years of age, parents of the applicant should               
    accompany applicant to sign Parental Consent / Advice. Parents must               
    bring valid IDs or Community Tax Certificate. 

Requirements: 

  1. Photocopy of recent year Community Tax Certificate
  2. Photocopy of Birth / Baptismal Certificate or Voters Affidavit 
    Either one of the applicant must be a resident of Marikina City
    If one of the applying parties is a foreigner/alien 
    - Secure Legal Capacity to Marry (from their Embassy or Consular Office 
    based in the Philippines)
  3. Passport
  4. If divorced, bring Divorced Papers
  5. All Applying parties to attend Marriage Counseling and Family
    Planning Seminar at the Marikina City Health Office. Marriage License 
    will be released (11th day) based on the date indicated on the claim 
    stub, be sure to bring the claim stub and the Family Planning certificate.

· Age of Dog and Cat – at least three (3) months old
  For first time registrants:
  For the owner 
  Duly accomplished Application Form;
  Certificate of Residency from the Barangay;

  Registration Fee of Seventy Five Pesos (P75.00)

  Certificate/Proof of Antirabies Vaccination for the last six (6) months;
  In the absence of a proof of antirabies vaccination, the physical presence of the animal  

  shall be required for proper administration of the required vaccine
  Full Body, Side View photograph (in 3R) of the animal

· For renewal of registration:
  Updated Information Sheet
  Renewal Fee of Seventy Five Pesos (P75.00)
  Proofs of vaccination for the previous year. For failure to present such proofs, a fine of   One Hundred Pesos (P100.00) shall be charged in addition to the renewal fee.
  In the absence of a proof of antirabies vaccination, the physical presence of the animal   shall be required for proper administration of the required vaccine.

Steps:
-Go to Local Civil Registry Department (LCR) - G/F Marikina City Hall 
- Proceed to Window 21. 
- Submit and verify at Window 21. 
- Proceed to payment at Window 39.
- Claim Birth Certificate at Window 24 after 11 – 15 working days.
