Mayor Marcy Suspends Classes in Marikina Tomorrow

Mayor Marcy Teodoro suspended classes in all levels, in both public and private schools, in Marikina City tomorrow, Tuesday, October 30, as a pre-emptive measure due to the expected landfall of typhoon "Rosita."

"Your safety is our priority," Mayor Marcy said in a statement.

Typhoon Rosita entered the Philippine area of responsibility on Saturday. It is expected to make a landfall on Tuesday. As of 5:00 pm today, Monday, Metro Manila was placed under signal No. 1.
