After giving them free access to education since he started his term as the father of Marikina City more than two years ago, Mayor Marcy Teodoro is now promising a quality education to the students of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina (PLMar).

Since he became the head of Marikina on June 30, 2016, Mayor Marcy has worked hard to grant all Marikeños enrolled at the government-owned PLMar the right to study for free, that is, they no longer have to pay for their tuition fees as part of his aim to give the youth of Marikina a brighter future through education.

Giving Marikeños access to free education is one of the cornerstones of Mayor Marcy’s administration. This is the reason why he granted free business licenses, taxes and other fees  to owners of small sari-sari stores and carinderias in Marikina City because he knows that the owners of these small, home-based businesses are using their earnings to, among others, finance the education of their children.
