New PFFI Officers Take Their Oath Before Mayor Marcy

Mayor Marcy Teodoro administered the oath of office of the newly elected officers of the Philippine Footwear Federation, Inc. (PFFI) for 2018 led by its president, Antonio Andres, Sr.


After the oath taking ceremony held at the Marikina City Hall, Mayor Marcy had an informal meeting with the new officers and members. During the meeting, Mayor Marcy approved the repair and rehabilitation of the one-storey commercial building of the Footwear Promotions Building of the PFFI, said Paul Patrick Lardizabal, PFFI deputy managing director.



Located at the PFFI compound on Russet St., SSS Village, in Barangay Concepcion Dos, the building will host meetings for the footwear industry, as well serve as a training center. It will also be a venue for marketing and selling shoes, bags and other products made in Marikina City, Lardizabal said.


The other new officers of PFFI include Neil D.A. Nepomuceno, vice president; Monica Escaño, board secretary; Gloria Magtaos, treasurer; Edgar Santos, auditor.

Also present during the oath taking event held on October 8 at the City Hall were Roweliza Landicho, chair of the ethics and amendments committee; Lolito Lopez, chair of ways and means committee; Jestoni Natividad, chair of training and education committee; Madella De Leon, vice chair of ways and means committee; and Marilyn Magbag, vice chair of the development and governance committee.
