Pet Registration Continues in Concepcion Uno and Nangka

The City Veterinary Office (CVO) announced the next schedule of Pet Registration and Vaccination Against Rabies Program in Brgy. Concepcion Uno and Nangka, Marikina.
The schedule will be held for residents in Brgy. Concepcion Uno on Friday, September 20 and on Saturday, September 21 from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM in different areas.
On Friday, September 20 from 8:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon the pet registration will be held at the basketball court in Sampaguita St. in Zenaida Subd., Goodrich Village and Summerhomes covered courts.
The other locations are in Friendly Village 2, Marikit Subd., and St. Claire 1 covered courts from 1:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon.
On Saturday, September 21 from 8:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon the pet registration will be held simultaneously at the basketball court in San Isidro Village 1, Greenheights 2 covered court, in front of Rositaville Multi-purpose Building, and beside Fairlane Multi-purpose building.
Meanwhile, for residents in Brgy. Nangka the schedule will also be held on Saturday, September 21 and on Sunday, September 22 in different areas.
On Saturday, September 21 from 1:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon the pet registration will be held simultaneously in front of Greenland Village Phase 2 Multi-purpose Building, Greenland Village Phase 1 and Jaybee Subd. covered courts, and along Puerto Rico St.
On Sunday, September 22, the pet registration will be held at Nangka covered court from 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon.
To accommodate more pets, other locations will be at Greenheights Phase 3 and Libya 2 Multi-purpose Halls and in St. Mary covered court from 8:00 AM to 12 NN. And from 1:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon, the activity will be held along Sierra Madre St. in Marikina Village and Tierra Vista covered court.
The CVO will also undertake free vaccination of these pets upon registration to prevent the spread of “rabies” and other animal diseases to humans.
For the new applicants, the requirements for the registration of their pets include a duly accomplished registration form from the CVO, photo of the dog and cat (full body and side view, 3R size), a 2x2 photo of the owner and P75 registration fee.
For those renewing their pet registration, they must present the dog tag and old registration papers, duly accomplished application form from the CVO and a P75 registration fee.
The pet owners are also required to bring with them the photocopy of the certificate (or proof) of anti-rabies vaccination. If the dogs have not yet been given anti-rabies vaccination, the owners must bring these pets for free vaccination.
