Pet Registration Continues in Parang and Fortune

The City Veterinary Office (CVO) announced the next schedule of Pet Registration and Vaccination Against Rabies Program in Brgy. Parang and Fortune, Marikina.

The schedule will be held for residents in Brgy. Parang on Friday, September 27 and on Saturday, September 28 from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM in different areas.

On Friday, September 27 from 8:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon the pet registration will be held at Pinkian St. corner Paterno St., and basketball courts in Surburbia East, Jem Subdivision, and Bagong Silang.

The other locations are in Gardenia Homes, M. Tuazon St., and M. L. Quezon St. from 1:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon.

On Saturday, September 28 from 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 noon the pet registration will be held simultaneously at Twinriver 2 basketball court and in front of Parang Elementary School. Meanwhile, there will also be a pet registration until 12:00 noon in La Consolacion covered court.

For residents in Brgy. Fortune the schedule will be held on Sunday, September 29 in different areas.

From 8:00 to 12:00 noon the pet registration will be held simultaneously in Fortune Ave. corner Santan St., La Colina covered court and in Multi-purpose Hall of PML Bagong Lipunan.

From 1:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon, the venue will be at Pugad Lawin covered court and at the front gate of Meteor Homes.

The CVO will also undertake free vaccination of these pets upon registration to prevent the spread of  “rabies” and other animal diseases to humans.

For the new applicants, the requirements for the registration of their pets include a duly accomplished registration form from the CVO, photo of the dog and cat (full body and side view, 3R size), a 2x2 photo of the owner and P75 registration fee.

For those renewing their pet registration, they must present the dog tag and old registration papers, duly accomplished application form from the CVO and a P75 registration fee.

The pet owners are also required to bring with them the photocopy of the certificate (or proof) of anti-rabies vaccination. If the dogs have not yet been given anti-rabies vaccination, the owners must bring these pets for free vaccination.
